Evaluation Q7

-Preliminary task quite basic
-Photographic skills are VERY simple in the preliminary task as i had not yet learned about the shot types
-As you can see there is a significant difference in the layout- the college magazine is quite basic, and not very engaging however the music magazine looks more improved.
- Music magazine font type looks more better than the college magazine
-experimented more with other font types.
-College magazine most of it is very simple and all of the fonts are similar or the same
- Masthead of college magazine looks quite funny, and like i keep saying very basic however the music magazine is looks better! and looks more engaging!
- contents magazine of college magazine is very plain and looks quite embarrassing however the contents page of the music magazine has improved font,style,layout, photography&everything!!!
-Photoshop skills has definitely improved since creating the college magazine, not by much but still an improvement!!

Evaluation Q6

In design is a tool which i used for my college magazine's contents page. It was slightly difficult to use however i have become familiar with it and feel more confident using it. I have a basic understanding in using this software. I used this software to create columns for my college magazine.

Photoshop is a software which i have used throughout my coursework.. Magazine, contents, and double page spread! photo shop is one software that i had an issue with, i could not used it at ALL..however throughout the year i have become more familiar with it and i have definitely become more confident in using it. But i still have a very basic understanding in using it perhaps i can develop more skills in the near future. My coursework most certainly reflects my basic understanding as neither the front cover, contents page nor the double page spread is anything extra ordinary! but i did have a go at it and really enjoyed using the software.

Iphoto is a software i used to transfer my pictures from the SLR cameras and into the computer. A very simple tool to use and felt quite confident in using it.

Flickr is a software that i used to to explain what  kind of media institution might distribute your product and why they would distribute it. It was a simple tool to use. and i just uploaded on to blogger which was very simple

Prezi is a tool that was very confusing to use at the start. However after using it and playing about with it i soon because confident in using it. The first time i used prezi was for my production plan. i soon became very familiar with it and i decided to use it for Evaluation question 5. It is a very simple tool yet really good tool to use.

The audience for my magazine would be people who have similar interests to me! - Politics, world peace, fighting against oppression, who want to learn more, seek knowledge. Love underground hip-hop music. Speak to some of the artists about their experiences. People who read a lot! Generally people who are eager to learn

This image was used in a online magazine called FEN (US)

1) Both these images are different In how they look to be fair

2) I could not find an image similar to mine that had been in a magazine. However I think they are quite similar considering the messages behind both the pictures.

3) Both images stress love and unity and if you look closely to the picture that I took you can see the the messages stressing love. change&the importance of human lives

4) Both pictures are quite similar in the fact that they both look as if they deeply believe In their message, serious stern looks on their faces

5) Attitudes towards this message is illustrated through their facial expressions. The background is not quite the same however both look quite effective and 'street'
